haha, i've been swamped with work this year. Havent' been on in a while and ridden even less. I do have all my parts for a new build, but havent had time to start it yet. Hopefully i can hit a ride that you actually go to also this year
big big waves, are you guys riding in a different spot now? Butch had a huge roll in there. Chris looks like he'll try a flip off any size wave. You guys have stepped it up dramatically in the last couple of months.
the hood seal area on the sxr is the best. With good latches it would be very hard to knock the hood off. A stronger handlepole bracket area like the old xjets with the vertical lip for the bracket.
jeff's 1200 motor is very strong, however its limited by his wet pipe. it doesnt rev as quickly as it could with a drypipe designed for that motor. If he had a production drypipe the motor would be nutty .
Roo, Luke and i have had no luck with stock strap locations and that tank. When accidently doing 3/4 rolls and upside down landings it alway twists and ends up sideways. Every backflip we ever tried, we'd have to go back to the shore and adjust the tank. I finally modded my pipe to fit around...
