you need to get the tension on the inner cable right, just moving the lever wont alter the cable tension - adjust it with the adjuster nuts either on the lever or on the cable bracket at the carb/inlet...

i am using a 650sx nozzle with some spacers behind the reduction nozzle, as i was struggling to get the steering cable to miss the water fitting when using the X2 nozzle. questions is, do you get the reduction nozzle bored or is it the exit/steering nozzle? i think i have a 750 couch aluminium...

just an update on this, i am currently running a Hydrospace HSR S4 impeller 11/17 and seems to be working very well with the R&D pump stuffer/cone (impeller is big hub to match) i just wondered if swapping out the kawi 650 exit nozzle for a bigger 750 nozzle would give any further bottom end?

agreed, check the timing. i don't like primers - they are just a work around for a poorly set up carb IMO.

apart from here in the UK. Diesels are very poplar over here in all cars and trucks due to their higher fuel ecomomy and the amount of tax we pay on fuel. so not only is fuel very expensive, you get charged more for diesel cars and the fuel for them, just by trying to save a few quid on running...

I would experiment/research the carb thing before sinking cash into a 48mm. i have 48mm carb here with the atomiser thing removed and its a nightmare to tune. i am goin back to a 44mm for now, see if that helps.... p.s. looks good...
