    Motocross Goose Bump Pictures Thread

Any action sport has its risks. Stephen Murray is paralized from attempting a double back flip on a BMX bike. Well he had crashed many before that one and he had rode out of many perfectly before that one. But that last attempt did him in. I made some sky dives years ago and took a big...

a few x-2 observations from today

Search the X2 forum Charlie. I want a carbon fiber e-box made that is molded off of a stock X2 oil tank. That way I can house all of my 800 SXR electrics in it. I want it to have a cover and then a piece of aluminum epoxied int oit. It will be a trick custom piece. I can make one but I know...

a few x-2 observations from today

My X2 will be pretty cool. It will look mostly stock excecpt with a few bolt on's. I still need a carbon oil tank made, a modded seat, a custom throttle bracket made, my carbs milled a little, I may/may not but an ADA head, I need a WC exhaust manifold, then mod it for my WB limited chamber, my...

a few x-2 observations from today

Well for years I was saving small parts, not really big parts. I recently just bought an 800 SXR engine. So I stepped up my parts buying and bought all thye little and not so little parts I needed. But in the last three months I have spent 4k on ski parts and I still need a few more things...

a few x-2 observations from today

I can't wait to get my build done.... even though I haven't even started... Best thing about X2's is that your feet are out wide which helps stability. Subs are like any other ski, you need the right sped, the right hop, and the right entry angle. Otherwise you get your eyelids peeled back...

    Dayum these are BLINGIN!

That carb would work better on an ATP manifold... that Rivia is just a Kawasaki 650 manifold! You Yamaha guys just can't get away from the Kawies... we were the very first skis anyways. Damn Matt already beat me to it! There is a scratch on your couplers too, not too blingin there...

How did you aquire your X2?

I think it is listed on here for sale. I didn't save the number. The SXi Pro is in Illinois if that helps. He is needing money and wants to sell the whole ski. All I know. I was just going to strip what parts I needed and part the rest. But I already shelled mahjor $$$ for the 800 to the left.

How did you aquire your X2?

Random phone call hooks are the best! One time in college.... The other day someone called me about a 750 SXi Pro. Funny thing was they called me two or three weeks ago and I told them I already got what I needed, an engine. But heck if they are giving it away, I will take it!

So who is good at carbon fiber work?

Sad to say but my engine is not installed yet... Had to poke at YZ some because his new engine isn't installed either. So WeDo, you gonna make me a carbon box? I can attempt to make one yet I know my quality won't be what I want plus I will have a lot of $$ tied up in materials. I figured...

    Sparkplugg wire ???

I was going to chime in about your tool but you beat me to it. I can post a pic of the spike on a Kawasaki 1100 tripple coil. I accidently pulled the wire off of one once. The wires are epoxied in place.

So who is good at carbon fiber work?

Where the coil rests inside the stock box, the wires are not long enough. He had his extended and told me that it just gave him problems and didn't like salt water. I was going to have the same company do them to mine so... I am looking at other options. Basically this X2 will have custom...

So who is good at carbon fiber work?

I really need to get this made and I am not as experienced in composites as I should be. I want an X2 oil tank made out of carbon fiber. I am wanting it so that it will act as my e-box. I would like to have a lid that is sealed with a gasket or o-ring and bolted down. Then an aluminum...

    Have a X2? Have a Myspace?

Hopefully Sat and Sun. Haven't started my build yet so I will probably riding a stocker. Gotta talk YZ250FPilot into going for at least the weekend. I need him to drive. My trailer is rolling on bad tires. I could just throw an X2 into the back of my turck.

    starter question

I have rebuilt plenty of starters. I have one now that the needle bearings rusted solid in it. Well if i was to rebuild it, I would run it no questions. Like SFL said, Always run an OEM! I had a Goki once. Mother &^*%er crapped out in no time. How does a brand New starter get water...
