switch out the carb, it is a carb problem. 99% sure. also a stock SJ from the factory reads 150 PSI, he is full of it! are you running a stock head? the guage has to have the right length of thread thatthe spark plug would have if you want an accurate reading

i bought one of those bun plates at the WF. it is made out of fiberglass and looks strong. it is suppose to only work with a protec trim nozzle, but we will see.....

those guages are crappy...any numbers you want to count as accurate would be a snap on or something that costs upwards of 250

do you have a flywheel sitting around? a 61x flywheel will only fit 61x stators. 61x flywheels have about 3 or 4 magnets on the inside , while the 62ts magnets are built in .
