650 sx is a great ski to start on they are very reliable, But hands down the sn 650 is a way better ski. Like vumad said there are so many parts that are interchangeble for the sn u can always update later..

WOW LOL okay smart guy!!!! I know that u can go past 85 mm on a 62t and also u can go past 83mm on 61x. Im just saying that i would not want to take a stock cylinder out to its last bore!!!!!! That would be a real brand new guy thing to do!
You wont be able to bore cylinder to 84mm. The sleeves on the 61x cylinder are thinnner. I would check into one of the jetmaniac setups. They do a 717 kit that has great reviews and its affordable. He is on this site pm him for more info, im sure u wont be disappointed
So what cylinder do u have? I was under the impression u are running a 62t cylinder???!!!!If u are using the motor out of a 02 superjet that would be 62t cases but u would have the 61x cylinder
The total loss replaces everything n electrical system including the flywheel....................As for the bigger carbs, you will definitly gain some mid range but, They will also suck more gas and will be more tempremental then the 38 s
Dont waste your time with the 845 kit..I rode one..Group k is awsome but this kit i was not impressed with..You already got the 62t cylinder so dont worry about the resleeving and just bore it to 84mm and have it ported....u will not be dissapointed
I ran it on my superstock motor at the finals n 99 and to me it seemed not to make a big diffrence. I did like all the adjustments with the timing. But for a "recreational flatwater freestyle" just think u could spend money elsewhere
In my opinion u can get the 38 s to work very well and u can use the money that u would spend on carbs on something else...(pole,nose piece, hood) As for the total loss i dont like losing the stock charging system again just dont think it makes a big enough diffrence for the money and the head...
