How big of a difference does this make? I have a ported and piped 61x/61x in my 95 SN. Wondering if its worth upgrading the whole exhaust system to the larger 96+.

I would recommend following these testing instructions first. If all components test in spec, then replace the CDI. For what its worth, every time I've seen a no spark condition it's been either a bad start stop switch or bad CDI...

I have a reduction nozzle from a 91 SJ650 + plastic nozzle (I believe the plastic nozzle is from a 61x 701). Plastic nozzle is missing one bushing on one of the bolts, could get from any hardware store. $50 shipped.

Just an FYI because I recently learned this - you can buy the button internals separately if they are acting up but you already have the switch housing. This part is only listed on the 90-95 parts fiche, but the switch housing is the same for 1990-2020 so should fit any of those no problem.
