I've been riding for 10 years plus and am still learning. find someone with a FX1 around you and ride that. when you get back on your superjet you will feel like a pro!
Seriously, just like everyone else said: Tray time, Tray time,Tray time! you will get it. Are you sore after riding?
tap the stock head and dump the water off the new head fitting overboard. here's a thread: http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/tapping-61x-head-for-dual-cooling.144943/
There is a rubber block that bolts to the bottom of my cases. Looks like it some sort of pad between the hull and engine. Do you guys run these or are they for a sitdown or something? There isn't one on my 6m6 setup
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk on the farm.....
Also sending the flywheel to #zero for a facelift and anyone who can re work the CDI for me drop me a line please. Im not sure if its a 6m6 or a 61x /62t. This boat was in a million pieces when I bought it.
Saved up my plowing money and decided to bite the bullet and get the highly praised Blue ported freestyle Jetmaniac 701 top end. Last fall I picked up a 61x case with a rebuilt crank. A few more bux and ADA head later and I'm one happy camper! leak down test this afternoon if I can get out of...
is this a good spot to glue my bilge pump in? just finished building my Jetmaniac/Blue ported 710 and getting ready to do the leakdown test. I don't want to glue this in and find out that its in a bad location! under or over the midshaft with the bilge hose? 5200 works right?
looks good. I need to do this next winter. this year I invested my money in a Blue ported Jetmaniac 701 with ADA head and crankcase rebuild. Ditching the Hog 650!
I couldn't imagine cutting up 8K worth of ski! I do hate they way the 14's plow though. I'll be in the market for a new plate this winter. maybe have tom21 make up a few carbon ones when he catches up.
So this 2014 is glued to the water! So much so I'm getting sprayed in the face all the time from the nose wanting to dive. Should I D cut the plate or cut it flush with the back? This is what I'm thinking for a D cut.
