Mine was this way when I purchased the ski so I just left it. My first set of cases posted were 62T cases from a 760 motor so they came that way. I've never tried a T fitting so I'm not sure from personal experience how that would work, but I'm sure others have tried it.
I've got a fully ported and epoxied 1200 motor by Tim that's going into a blaster. His work is insane. I've got a few parts left to get before I drop the motor in but when you see his work first hand you will be very satisfied with your decision.
