Making the inside look clean and spartan isn't that much work. Maybe extra 30" of time to lay some clean carbon sheets or some dyed glass biax/weave. Did it on everyone of my SJ's.

To each his own on this thing. I can dig not using it, but mine gets used... Surf stance 180's and 360 attempts, stabs along with 180 hops to flip. Both feet in the rear buckets works great too but I appreciate a FF when I'm boat chasing.

@whitca that is a gen 1 freak. The SJ based ones were "pre-freaks". I had a gen 1.5 with the badass bottom deck and the gen 1 top deck. The badass is technically the gen 2. I have no idea what that op pic is...the hood is throwing me off cuz that doesn't look like the hood that came on...

That carbon sure is slick looking. Sano as hell. From the first hull to this one all ur work looks "spot-on." Looking forward to hearing independent ride reports post havasu.

^^agree. I hate wrenching. I hate even worse making a change finding out it runs like crap after the change and have to go back where I started. On the flip side, knowledge is king...unless u have the cash to pay someone else to do it for u.

I've prolly got the biggest cold-gina u'll ever meet. When the water hits 60 I give up. It makes feel ill just thinking about being cold.
