Mike young used to let the Freestylers do 2 min in the morn then 2 in the afternoon. A qualifying/placement round then the actual competition. The $50 for freestyle is low compared to some regions. But I have seen them as low as $35. As far as the First timers, dont forget they have to fork...

Randy had knee surgery a couple months ago which ended up with a 5 day hospital stay due to an infection. He is up and riding but not sure if he will compete this year. But the summer is long so only time will tell.

I booked my room 8 am Wed morning. The lady was pleasant and knew our grp well. She even commented that i was with them last year at the same time. I asked for the pierside bldg and she told me our block of rooms were on the opposite. Im young and health and the room is $99 so i wont complain...

The only thing that sux about the Lower rate is the blocked of rooms for S&T are in the tower opposite of where all the ski's are gonna be. So bring luggage with Wheels lol

The only problem with having the race in Aug, is that it is sure to kill the attendance for the Tupelo race. If people have to choose between a small pond or the surf, they will choose the surf. Back to back races and 7+ hrs of travel usually means "Gotta pick one..cant afford both" Im sure...
