Good point with the overheating! I'm going to buy a 3rd gen pathfinder and they are rated for 600lb tongue weight and 6000lb towing capacity. I think if I am close to 600lb then I can move the boat a little on the trailer. My boat is supposed to weigh 2800-3000lbs fully loaded.

Noted! That is on the XL version which adds 16" to the length and it makes a big difference when driving around 30 minutes looking for a parking spot! Only problem these trucks is with the rear air suspension. It's likely that I will convert to springs with air assist soon as that happens.
