I don't think Tem used stainless for any of the hulls. He started using a thicker wall aluminum tube to avoid corrosion issues but he is a scientist for weight savings
I don't care much for flatwater and don't follow it other than a few peeps on Instagram but I can say that he is correct about some top pro contenders using trim
I understand and agree also but a wave that small in surf means you're in 2' of water depth... At least on the East coast. On those days I just surf ride. Not worth the risk. Gotta make it to work the next day
Trim doesn't build confidence. It allows unconfident people to flip. Remove the trim and force yourself to flip without trim... Then you'll gain confidence in yourself. Body movement and wave timing is more effective than a trim lever. Trim just causes you to blow out the backside of the...
Tem the Circus tray is probably similar layout as mine. Rear hold and FFH are perfect layout for surf stance flips IMO. Surf stance flips are awesome for freeriding. You don't have to kick into the holds and troll around for a wave that you want to flip... Just stay surf stance shredding...

Just ride the hulls you're considering. Don't listen to anyone's opinions because they'll likely be different than yours.
Keyboard cowboys voice their opinion and bash products more than actual riders do. Half the time people that bash a product haven't even ridden one
I never said Rickter copied the Aquabot, I simply said that some of the Edge's new characteristics are shared with the Aquabot which seemed weird for someone to hate one then buy the other. I've ridden an XFS and Aquabot back to back and could notice the benefits to the steeper nose rocker and...
