    Make the beachcart not float??

I modded my beach cart to a low rider cart by flipping the axle housing upside down. This forces you to install a longer axle as the bunks are too close to the tires making it impossible to load the ski. A Metal Supermarket shop near me made it easy to source all the new square tubing and the...

    Hooker 11/17 155mm for Yamaha

Hey, I ran it on my Rickter for less than 30 min and decided to go back to my original impeller. It is perfect, as you’d expect. Purchased it from Blowsion recently for $535. Well, the impeller was $440 plus $95 for the cutback option. See photos. As it is perfect, I’d like to get $440.00...

Where do we post "help" questions?

Hey--quick question. So, the large washer behind the bendix that you are referring to, that is the one that came affixed to the bendix, correct? Or is there supposed to be a second one? Also, what is your take on knowing whether or not the bendix was worn out or not? I ask because my original...

Where do we post "help" questions?

Thanks. If I remember correctly, the reason I got rid of my PowerFactor waterbox was because it interfered with my carb setup. I installed 50 mm SE carbs recently and noticed that the fuel lines run upward instead of out which will give me more room. Anyway, I’m not giving up on it yet—I just...

Where do we post "help" questions?

Thank for that—I knew I should have never put the thing on my ski. My other screw up was selling my B pipe and fuel tank. Looks like I’ll miss Pismo again unless I can scare up some parts—and yes—I’m pulling the new pipe off as I hate bs like this.

Where do we post "help" questions?

I pulled the intake off, left the head off and liberally lubed everything with 2 stroke oil—it sat opened up like that for a month or so before reassembly. That obviously would not matter if it was rusted but the rod bearing looked perfectly fine. Fingers crossed.

Where do we post "help" questions?

Thanks for the TC tip. As for the water, it was well below the crank bearings. Not discovered until sitting for a week on my bench.

Where do we post "help" questions?

That thought crossed my mind as well because when I did the water test after I put the ski together I did not bail off it except for the time in the water putting it back on the trailer. Heck, maybe I won’t have it ready in time for Pismo. I should have done more research on these setup’s before...

Where do we post "help" questions?

That is very interesting and something I didn’t know. I assumed the flywheel would stop in a different location every time. I’m still a bit confused…

I believe they are in NJ… Somewhere a long way from here anyway. Thanks

Where do we post "help" questions?

Well, the Power Factor waterbox did not fit so I’m running the RRP—again, I regret making the conversion. Before I put the engine back in I will try to source that “hose” you think someone makes. Thanks for the help.

Where do we post "help" questions?

Thanks—that’s very helpful. The crank is fine I’m guessing as it only had 30-40 minutes of run time on it.

Where do we post "help" questions?

Well, I bought a new 1100 Dasa shortblock and found that I had water entering the engine—quite a bit collected in the crank case. At the same time I converted to a laydown pipe (wish I didn’t at this point) I’m also having an issue with the bendix not engaging 25% of the time. The Jetinetics...
