Where is everyone mounting batteries? I know most are going back by the firewall, but I think I heard TC say something about it mounting under the pipe?
yes... I re did a set of these carbs earlier this year. They are staggered. And set the screws like this:
Front:
HS 1/2 turn
LS 2 1/2 turns
Rear:
HS 3/8 turn
LS 1 5/8 turns

Getting closer, rode out of two flatwater flips today. Not plate to plate, nut nosed in and rode out!! Tuning is going good, I think the pole could be about a inch shorter. Carbs are getting close to perfection!! And I need to tighten the footholds a little. Not much.
Just pulled the blinds up on my camper and looked at the glassy lake! Shortened the pole about three more inches, padded the hell out of the footholds because the stock was junk and hurt, added some cusion under the b pipe.... Got 3 full days of testing and tuning ahead of me!!
130 AM and I come upstairs. Everything is done besides one cooling line, and the primer pump. I heard it spin over once, but it was way to late to fire up. Updates in the mornig! Goodnight, happy 4th of july!!

Update: Worked til 11 last night and got the pump in, aligned perfectly thanks to @Matt Jones letting borrow his cold fusion alignment tool. Trim cable in and done, pump plumbing done, steering able in. Basically entire pump is done with the ride plate on. I got the motor mounts in and the...
