I must be turning into a wimp as I age......doesn't even sound fun anymore. If there is open water after Daytona I will probably do a quick flush/ride but that's about it.

I wear sweat pans and a long sleeve t shirt under mine. Very warm with air temps in the 40's.......would be fine colder than that, but I don't ride much be low 40 degrees.

I have a brand new Kawi 800 cable. Can bring it to Daytona or ship it. It's new in the bag and I think I paid like $22 for it. PM me if you want it.

Did the same thing once years ago on my first ride of the spring. When it was time to pull the ski out of the water, I just did a little bunny hop and slid across the top of the ice towards shore.

I think break in wax should be discussed in another thread. Let's keep this thread solely on maintenance wax.

Zolatone is what a lot of A/M hulls have. I think that is what Trinity and waterdawg use. It looks about the best and holds up great, but it's extremely pricey.

Too bad I suck at flat water.......
