Wavegoddess and I will be fixing burgers for lunch on Saturday. We'll provide the meat, buns and burger fixins, but we need some people to provide chips and dips to go with the burgers.
Can we get a few brave volunteers to reply here and bring those?
In addition, can someone provide...
Tomorrow I have to go to Shreveport, LA for a funeral.
Is the best way to get there from Houston just going to be going 59, or is there some sort of top secret route of I-10 to something heading north that I don't know about?
Well, I just got off the phone with Factory, and they said they won't have any manifolds for at least another month, so my SJ most likely won't be ready for LSF. So, I'll most likely be couching it.
:splatt:
Alan, check your PM's please.
I'll be bringing Katie "The Wasp Slayer" and my daughter Ava (17 months old) to Crystal Beach for the September ride. Is there anybody else bringing family who would like to split the cost of a beach house?

A group of youngsters who took a jet-ski onto flooded streets in the Gloucestershire deluge are being investigated by police after posting their film on...
I have a SJ 701 with single carb.
When I start it up and ride it, great no problems.
However, after a few spills, it will start to bog so bad that there's not even enough power for me to get up and it sounds like its running on one cylinder (coming from someone still rather ignorant - so...
Ok, you're just going to have to excuse my ignorance because I'm new to this.
I have a 94 SN 701 with a Riva manifold and pipe. A repair had to be made to the manifold, so I took out the pipe and manifold and sent them off. Before I did, I labeled the cooling lines with tape so that I'd know...
I know I sound like an idiot, but I can't for the life of me get a wrench on the two bottom center bolts of the Riva exhaust manifold on my SJ 701. Coming from the top or the bottom, I can't seem to get a wrench on them. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Any tips or tricks?:sneaky:
Well, I finished my ski crane this weekend.
I basically built an I-beam out of 2x4's, used a 2,000 lb winch I bought at Northern tool on sale for $50 and a pulley (sp ?). I mounted it in my garage up in the rafters with the wench setting on a double header (4 x 12). I connected it to an extra...
I guess I'm the last one not down there yet. :banghead:
Has everyone had a chance to ride my ski before I get it?
I'm really really hoping to be there before 10 am.
I'm all alone.
How do I install fishing rod holders on my ski?
I see plenty of threads for footholds, but none to do with rod holders.
I really, really, really want to start fishing from my ski.....
