The Staycyc is more of a pre-motorcycle than a strider bike. My daughter will be getting one.

My little one is getting close to being big enough. One thing I've noticed is that the used market is pretty strong for these type things. Probably could expect to get most of your money back.

If I can't source the cool one that @Fast Elements H20 Designs makes then I'll just order a replacement setup from JM. Then I'll probably just do the threaded cap idea that @McDog showed us for times when I don't want the scupper in operation.

Yep! Far as i know they use SJ hoods. I've never ridden a T1, but I've heard amazing things about them. I have a soft spot in my heart for fixed steer skis and would secretly love to try a fixed steer setup on my Superfreak.

That hood setup on a T1 would be the shiizzzzz!!
