    Freestyle Ocean Hauler

Been a while, just been using/enjoying the trailer. Getting it cleaned up and ready for the first trip of the jetski season. Added a on-board charger, microwave, and bought a 2200 watt quiet generac generator last year. Decided to add a center LED light, 4 way switch panel and disco disco...

    Freestyle FV-PRO Flatwater Shenanigans

This was my fix for the leaky gas cap, cut down/welded thrust pop top to aluminum flange and also made a stainless backer plate. May not be the prettiest fill setup, but it hold 4psi without leaking, excited to try the ski with a non leaking gas tank lol. I plan to make a different fill top...

    Chop shop time.

1-46mm is plenty for that motor, dual 46 will just be wasting a bunch of fuel.

    Freestyle FV-PRO Flatwater Shenanigans

Forgot I did take some photos. Can see where the splines made marks in one spot of my new midshaft. Also installed a stubby cone, need all the bottom end I can get!

    1st Flat Water Flip

Quailty is yet to be seen on the new motor, I hope it's good, but who knows. They had lots of issues with the starter kits falling apart, hopefully they fixed those issues. I'd rather spend 14k on a well built used ski then a new krash. This was my first flatwater flip last year, I was on the...

    Freestyle FV-PRO Flatwater Shenanigans

No difference in viberation, shaft was only bent by .020". After idle, it's pretty smooth like most skis. I touched the midshaft itself. Be careful checking it, mine was 180F with bent shaft.

    Freestyle FV-PRO Flatwater Shenanigans

Didn't have my temp gun with me, but it was a little cooler then the crank shaft, id guess about 10F cooler.

    Freestyle FV-PRO Flatwater Shenanigans

Pulled engine and pump Saturday, replaced bent driveshaft and rode Sunday, my midshaft is no longer getting hot :D 1.5 hours on the clock so far, each time I ride this thing, the more I like it, pretty much have flatwater 360 figured out, need to get the motor dialed in a little better and move...

650/X-2 UMI Steering Stem with OEM Steering base

The notches go down, those are steering stops. Looks like it could use new bearings

650/X-2 UMI Steering Stem with OEM Steering base

Should, probably all gummed up. If it's real nasty, I would start with brake clean spray, then move to simple green degreaser, then use a marine grade grease for assembly.

650/X-2 UMI Steering Stem with OEM Steering base

Take it apart, clean it with solvent or degreaser, grease, reassemble. That may be a umi upper made for a oem stem. The upper part is the weak point on the stock setup.

    Hull sanding

Wet sanding prolongs your sand paper, prevents clogging. Depends what kind of paint you use, but somewhere from 200-600. As for prep for fiberglass work, I generally use 24-60 grit, on air powered tools.

Which b pipe is better, limited or mod?

Mod. Easier to install and will fit into a/m hull if you got that route.

    2008 Superjet "The Basketcase" Build

Nice restore . On your starter, take the two bolts back out and wrap the 2 seams with quailty electrical tape, you may end up with water in the starter if you don't. I always use a new o-ring and tape it. On the tray, be sure to use polystyrene close cell foam, cut it out and stuff it full...

Superjet Defoam and RRP adjustable foot hold install

Cool, we have group rides all over Texas, at least 1 or 2 per month. Our biggest ride is in Austin Tx, not too far from Houston, usually over 100 standups show up. We also have a couple at Port Aransas and surf side, both close to Houston also.
