Hi Tim, once I get settled late fri afternoon, I was planning on a ride from the camp ground boat ramp.

I have a 1990 square- nose that is for sale. It's going to LOTO. It's listed with a nice single trailer but for this weekend It will be on my double.

I have fri and sat night revs. If the weather is good I may get there thur . afternoon.

We do ride on Sunday before heading home , talking about the June 23-24 freeride!

I have a press on order. Then I will measure this late 90's mid shaft from a 1100.

Everyone sure has good ideas. Since my hull is "cut open ". We're going to create a path , for lack of better discription for any water to find the plug.

Are yours holding up to all the maintained you do to your ski.

I dont have the ski here to look at diameter of the mid shaft showing to see even if it can pressed in further. YES both the engine and pump would be moving to the rear of the ski the same distance. Then add a two inch pump ring between the pump shoe and rear mount pump.

If the engine and pump both move back in the hull the same distance, how wrong am I thinking: press the midshaft into the bearing two inches further. I was looking at the youtube "BoB" vid on installing the M.shaft into the bearing they have to press it to the right depth. why not just...
