i had the same problem but i believe my problem was from the turf and foam holding the corners up too much. i siliconed on the tops and bottoms of mine on the inside and that stopped it from hitting the backs of my legs.

another vote for the weed to make it seem like you are going faster. or you could buy a nice wamiltons finger throttle so that it feels like you are riding a ski and not a 4-wheeler. :nana:

Are the steering ends pretty well the same between the rn and sn superjets. I have a trim cable setup to use a 5mm threaded steering end like what comes on 96up sj's and was wondering if the squares had steering ends that were interchangeable with the rn ones. they have different part number...

yes replace the pole and cable and you will have 1" more throw.

i have either a 201 or a 205 under mine.....cant remember which since i have both of them. i would think it would fit fine. on my 04sj i liked the 205 much better than the 201. should know about the 08 in a couple of weeks when it warms a bit.

ive got an aftermarket pole otherwise i think you would be right. we noticed that when trying to put an 08 pole on a 99.

the steering cable has less throw too and the upper part of the handlepole is different. I just bought an older style steering cable for mine.
