i had to change the bendix in a buddys ski so i took a bunch of pics.. the puller bolts to the flywheel with two bolts and is slotted for a breaker bar or ratchet. this will allow you to loosen the fw bolt. dont remove the fw bolt,just back it out like the last pic.

use real short bolts in the fw puller then run a small prybar or large screwdriver thru the space in the middle. i have been meaning to weld a handle to my puller so i can skip that step. to tighten it back down hold it the same way with a couple of the puller bolts. or you could whip a holding...

not exactly on topic but i cut a cheapo puller down long ago so the flywheel will come off without pulling the tank. $16 total cost
