i can hit stop without it binding, i was referring to when your adjusting the ends the end at the plate doesnt wanna tighten anymore even though theres about a 3/4 of a inch of thread left, but the end at the pump is all the way tightened

cleaned the ends on the battery end but not starter end will try that, hope its not the last 2 dont really have the cash to replace the starter or the relay right now and on the steering,there is more room to adjust the end at the turn plate but it wont turn no more for some reason it keeps...
