They gave me a break down to $375 because I am a fresh customer and a "special discount" was applied :))..
I have serviced my bikes there in the past, they are not bad guys, it's just a dealership as any other and they charge higher than the small shops.
The good news is I am picking it up...
Yupp, now I know :). I learn every other day, some for free some not lol :)
P.S. are there any gas stations with ethanol free gas in Florida at all?
Thanks
I could have taken the carb apart myself If I knew they would charge me that much, but since the ski is under warranty, I did not wanted to mess with it myself yet..
All and all lesson learned :).. As soon as I pick it up I am back in the water with BIG smile on my face :)..
The dealer said it did not look like water at all... He insisted that it was bad gas. It was my fault I let my friend ride it in the ocean as he was not able to even get on the ski and kept pushing it under with the waves (he is 230 pounds). I though I got away for free from this accident, but...

The same day we cleaned the ski and motor out of salt water. I did what you guys suggested: took the ski upside down...
Since Its almost brand new, it is probably better idea to take it to the dealer. I've been curious though, how do they inspect and tune jetskis without putting them in the water?
Thanks!
D.
So the pain will fade away? Since I bought mine, I've been riding it almost every day and my lower back hurts a lot today :).. I am 5 11 toll, 155pounds
P.S. referring to standup, not seat down ski
That makes sense, if only one carb sprays fuel enough up to certain power or full power with no water resistance when the ski is out the water..
Do I take off carb nozzle to clean it?
Thanks!
Before I bought mine, I called all the dealers in the area and all told me that nowadays a very few people are interested in stand ups, most of their customers are looking for something recreational rather and high liability single rider ski. We were discussing this with friends, not for...
