You need to change them to the ones with offset hole, it must not be directly above check valve. Yamaha XL1200 uses them.

Pic of the kidney valve? The ones with the hole directly above check valve dribble far easier than the ones with the offset hole

When I spoke to Bun(Bun Freestyle Japan) in Thailand in Dec, they run Kawi coils as he has also had problems with the MSD coils

What is the best setup to make a pole tight/stiff? Individual bolts with Nylock nuts? Brass washers?

TS2 had a hesitation, guessed it was coil breaking down, but never tested again with a new one to make sure, been running the MSD for 2yrs, no problem

Impeller and scoop will make a huge difference and are the 1st mods to do. Skim head for some extra grunt. AM carbs really wake the ski up.
