at the rodrun swap meet this year there was a whole rxp with a totaled hull (fell off the tailer on the highway)with 35hrs on it. By sunday afternoon he was asking $1200obo
im glad i dont have to drag my wife to the beach with me and babysit a second ski all the time. Powersports are MY thing. She has HER things and WE have OUR things. She is plenty cool about it.
the op was comparing building a NEW ski vs buying a 2010 sj so sure if you dont mind using mostly used parts you could do it cheaper but i wil not go that route again. Also i dont think the op was talking about a limited motor either.
If you want to do it right with big power plan on spending...
running stiff pole? that can make the front of the hood opening sag like the sn's do
if everything is lined up,the ski is not warped from running stiff pole and the seal is installed properly the stock seal will not leak.
sorry, ive been sworn to secrecy!
i will add this little tidbit though
it has a couple features no other builders offer and if you thought the envy was sexy, wait till you see this BAMF!
your in the ballpark but the pole, pump and the rest of the bits and pieces will add up.i think it would be hard to build a complete ski from scratch even using some used parts for less than 10K
looks to be in really nice shape! i would guess thats about a 1997 model. Do you have the title? That bike would make an awesome dual sport.
i just looked at the pics again. right side drive and left side kicker.it may even be older than 97.
ill poke around a little and see what i can...
