Okay thank you! I'm going to bore the reduction nozzle to 85mm when I do the mag pump too.

So no 38s? Hmmm. I already have v force 3 reeds but I'm always searching for bottom end. Have your 735 engine. 10/16 hooker and about to put a 144 mag but I figured if a better intake could help them for the price I couldn't go wrong.

Are these meant to be used with the stock 38mm carbs or are they compatible with 44mm carbs too?

He was saying retain the same taper angle as stock to 85mm? I can do that. I work at a machine shop. Shouldn't be too hard haha

You guys that said 85mm, did it have a taper angle at all or 85mm straight bore?

Any of you guys bore the stock reduction nozzle too at the same time? What size did you go to?

I think I will upgrade he engine more but it will be later down the road. It makes sense what you're saying though. Maybe I should just look into going with a 148 instead of having to redo everything down the road. What all would a 148 mag swap require?

I think a mag pump is probably going to be the first thing I do. I'm really torn between a 144 and 148 though. The 144 being the cheaper option of course because I already have an impros hooker prop 10/16 I believe but I'm sure I could sell that no problem. Would I have to get a different trim...

Random off topic question about other things than engines.... When you guys ordered a handpole limiter rope, was it adjustable at all or did you guys cut yours for a shorter pole? o_O It's the little things I can't figure out sometimes... Haha

Anyone have dimensions for a 155 pump? That would be something I could look into for sure. I could check at home and see what the fitment looks like as far as room goes with my hull.

I would definitely be down for that but I have a company trip to Las Vegas that same weekend.

From what I am reading (and I greatly appreciate everyone's opinions on my current situation) I guess I'll go with my original plan that I had before I bought the ski. During the winter save my coins and ride motocross like always and get some oversized carbs for the JM 735 engine that I have...

This C2 hurricane hull with this short as hell X metal pole aren't very good for boat chasing anyways but I do have friends on the water that set me up behind their boats and the occasional random dude who just thinks skis are sick. So mostly what I'm doing is flat water. Our riding spot is a...

The sanity part was lost as soon as I got a standup I assure you Hahaha. I like to do the work myself though, that's part of the fun. I have a really good base platform right now for my skill level but I just want to improve on it this winter. I hope someone on here can give me a push in the...

So I bought a hurricane c2 carbon with JM 735 engine and stock carbs. Ski runs awesome but since winter is approaching I would like to get more power out of it in my spare time. If some experienced builders could chime in that would be swell as this is new for me. Should I put oversized...

So bought the Hurricane from @mightymighty2stroke today. Love the way she built and and she for sure took the time to do a full quality build. Super cool lady too. The ski by far outperforms me but with a little practice I hope I can change that. I think I made a good decision for my first AM...
