I wanted a wide tray and big footholds like an AM hull on my superjet so I widened the tray and made my own holds. I mounted them high also to allow plenty of padding top and bottom to be real cushy. Also the downward sloping angle of the foothold allows me to adjust with padding for how far...
You tried disconnecting the stop switch connector? (Black and white) wires off of start/stop harness. Also bad battery cables are definitely a possibility. Check how much power is being applied to the starter post. Ideally it'll be the same voltage as your battery but there will likely be...
Tail mods on a Blaster for surfriding is a must IMO. Rockered nose adds to it's abilities. Judging a skis handling in a no wake zone seems a bit ridiculous and that guy in the pic is not riding he is trolling... I have a hard time balancing while idling a standup ski along a no wake zone...
Thanks Tem! I have no ski right now so I put some time on Nicks ski finally on a Sunday and had such a fun time surf riding that thing. You need to come out to Daytona for some saltwater therapy!
This was a quick edit I threw together from Sunday. We had some other Florida riders travel to Daytona from the south and west coast to join us which was great to see some friends and meet new people. This ski belongs to Jeremiah and it was my first time riding this ski. I was very impressed...
Whitewash will rotate you quickly when it first breaks but it kills your height and forward momentum. That's as close as I get to a flat water flip haha. That one in the video pulled me back like 20 feet which I never realized until seeing footage. I can tell my wave approach speed was much...
This is old footage of my Aquabot, I was kinda lazy about getting footage of this ski. But I'm trying to make space for new stuff and I had this stuff stored so I cut it up quick and loaded it last night. This was such a great ski and helped to escalate my riding very quickly! Looking forward...
It's so hard to keep your mind right at free rides and fully focus on a certain ski. I actually realized after some ride time and thinking back that I had no harsh landings . Coming from a carbon Superfreak you will think you're landing in marshmallows with an SV1 haha. I'm no longer...
Just seeing this thread now, didn't even get the alert from Jeastes tagging my name for some reason. This hull is awesome in the surf for sure! Similar enough to the V2 that I could adapt fairly easily but different enough that I was still learning the handling characteristics more and more...
Rode Cody's Blaster today with the CarterB full front/rear mods, big pump tunnel, and footholds. First time really riding a Blaster since 2013 when I built my first standup. Since then anytime I try a blaster its a 5 minute ride and I'm done... Too bulky and slow handling. This ski was...
