I'm gettin a spark about every 20th revolution when starter is engaged. Can't seem to get the engine to sustain the combustion. TL brain is freshly wired and used in fresh water only. Using a primer. Gas is fresh too. Ski started fine prior to this. Ran batt dead tryin to start this morning.

What performance changes occur when you have low compression? I had 120-125 on a stock ski. Ski started easily and ran well. The engine seemed to pull fine and I couldn't detect any decreased performance with the low compression. I'll be looking for the culprit soon.

Any one buy the sheets of gasket material and cut their own? I'm gonna pull my intake and put dual 38's on a R&D intake for my 61x. I've used the gasket sheets to make them for my flywheel cover, but never for carbs/heads and such.
