Mock Jetski on Trampoline for training

Update: just bought this 14' trampoline on Craigslist on Saturday for $75. Loving it so far. It's funny, but I've probably done over 1000 jetski backflips, but before I got this trampoline, I did 5 or fewer trampoline backflips. Towards the end of the day, I wanted to grab my wakeboard handle...

Mock Jetski on Trampoline for training

I think I'm picking up a 14' trampoline with sides tomorrow for $75 bucks. This whole thing might be a pipe dream, but I've been thinking of a good off season training mechanism for years now. And trampolines are way more fun than traditional working out.

Mock Jetski on Trampoline for training

Super rough sketch that I just did on my iPhone, but I'm liking the PEX idea. It's bendable, but also has some structure to it. I couldn't picture it snapping easily and puncturing me/trampoline too as easy as PVC. I think they make some larger sizes of it too. I've only used PEX for water lines.

    Hmmm, maybe PEX!

Mock Jetski on Trampoline for training

Yea I've used trampolines in the past for wakeboard training. Working on muscle memory for handle passes on spins, etc. plus, it's just so incredibly fun! I've thought about using a wakeboard handle as simulating the handlebars, but being attached to a tree doesn't help a whole lot when you're...

Mock Jetski on Trampoline for training

Yes, this may sound crazy, but I'm looking to make some sort of "mock" jetski for a trampoline. Something that would be soft if landed on, ideally. Basically all I care about are handlebars and footholds. A fixed handlepole would probably be best I'm thinking. Let's see if anyone has some...

    Quick question about hull weights

Aftermarket carbon hulls can be as light as the low 50s pounds. But don't expect them to ride anything like a SJ. On most after market hulls, you'll get hucked off after 20mph. If you can't do 2-strokes, then you're really only stuck with 2 main options for standups. The 2017 Kawi SX-R or a...

Upgrading the KDX to DVX specs => KVX :)

I'll jump on the subscribe bandwagon also. I'm very curious to hear a ride report. In my experience, the KDX and DVX are similar, but the DVX rotates much faster. So I'm curious if your mods will help achieve that goal. My bunghole is also puckering when looking at those pics. Sent from my...

    HYDROTURF WONT STICK

Yes, that's what I'm saying. 1. Light coat on turf. Let dry 2. Light coat on rails. Let dry 3. Light coat on turf. Let dry 4. Light coat on rails. Let dry 5. Stick together

    HYDROTURF WONT STICK

I completely agree with Big Kakuna's original post and then WB1994's point on 2 layers of glue on each surface before sticking back together. They both already said it, but I'll stress these points again: 1. I apply a light coat on each surface (after you've sanded each surface and cleaned with...
