Honda or Yamaha 250f. 450s are way touch power for us mortals. Yamaha got the 250f right from the get go with out many reliability problems.

A lot of rickters with 1200s on enhancers out there. I'd say the zeel would be better but it's hard to ignore the fact that a lot of 1200 dasas on enhancers are out there

Looking to buy new or used? Lots of good options out there for both. Tpe PHP dasa xs are all good. If I was in a situation for a new motor/hull I'd Get my hull pump and electric set up dialed in and run a cheap 701 to get the hang of it, then have lpw aka jr build a php1015 and live happily ever...

You could just wake up earlier. Most construction jobs are 7-3:30. Not having daylight until 9am in the norther states would blow. I am willing to fight anyone to the death on this topic

I would have told myself to not waste time with my 750sx, buy a nice 95sn and for the love of god don’t chop it up. But most importantly I would have told myself to not buy a high roller hull, save up and just wait for the 2016 xfs ninja comp to come out
