runs fine for 5-10 mins then acts like its going into a temp protection mode, wont rev over idle, instantly pegs redline... bogs. dies if you try and ride it, plugs look brown, the fuel lines are tapped into the oem kawi tank, its set to res. then theres a vent filter looking thing hanging off...

Pushing 38 here. Yeah I rode breach inlet about 6-7 years ago when I had my last skis. Finally scored another this summer. As far as the sj go's I'm not sure if they plumbed the cooling lines wrong. It acts like its kicking in limp lode and limiting the rev limit to like 2-3k is there a ohm...

Yeah we've rode with lytle a few times, his wife just had the baby so he didn't make it last weekend. You should try and make it out. I see you're into sj's. I have a friend that just bought a 750sx with a 701 swap. It runs fine for 10-15 mins then cuts out and won't rev past idle speed or it...

From what I've read If only 3 fingers or so go numb its possible cts. Otherwise you could be just gripping to tight. I've read some riding gloves will help but have yet to try some.

carpel tunnel syndrome, i haven't talked to my doc about it yet but from the web it seems pretty common.. "my nurse gf thinks so also that its cts" it sucks happens now recently when i ride my r1 also :(

update for anyone searching, the sx flywheel is NOT suppose to be at 12 o clock at TDC, my key had sheered and was off a few degrees! "which this forum had edit thread options"

update: i did find a 750 motor with the front cyl at TDC the mark was also 12 o'clock if anyone else is wondering...
