yeah..we will see....i had the 10/16 on the shelf...thought id give it a try. Nothing ventured = nothing gained. I also have a larger pump cone that I may try as well
The setup was pretty rushed together as I was trying to get the motor dropped in so that I could ride in the Roar on the River over the weekend. Goal was to test friday night, then ride saturday at the event. Successful, but with some flaws.
First bump in the road was that I had to overnight...
Big time update.....finally broke down and made a big purchase in the XSCREAM 865 motor (Currently on first bore 828cc).
Big thanks to Steve (Aquaholic) for a great transaction. He has constantly tried to keep in touch to make sure I was happy with everything.
Also a huge thanks goes out to...
So im in the process of dialing my machine in. I am at a half turn in on my adjuster screws (ive read that you dont want to turn in much more) and I want to drop a size in jets. My question is, where to i set my adjuster when I drop a size? Open it to 1.5 turns? 1 turn? etc.
Thanks a ton...
my vote is for AM hull....ive had the pleasure of owning two different aftermarket hulls with "stockish" engines. I first had an EME Q8 with a SXR Drivetrain in it. Now I have a Superfreak Badass with a 701 in it. I would never want to go back to a stock hull...aftermarket hulls provide so...
I was just installing mine...same exact model lol. Are you turning the engine over by hand or with the start stop? We were turning mine by hand and getting no spark, then we noticed the ground wire from the motor was not hooked up to the battery, doh! Once that was hooked up we had spark.

Great job...hopefully we can ride sometime soon.
I dont know what it is about the scuppers....mine leaked like crazy...swannys does too. Eric sent me a replacement flap...it was just a piece of rubber with two pieces of carbon. Had to assemble it myself. I ended up ordering an epic scupper.
water temp i would guess to be around 50 degrees. Air temp was low 70s. I had a full wetsuit on with wrestling shoes and gloves. I was very comfortable.
Waterbox's i would say sound pretty similar. Great sound, throaty, not loud and annoying. Maybe swannysxr will chime in here and share...
Wasnt bad at all. I was shocked, thought it would be freezing. You gotta make a trip out here soon!
Thanks man...your ski by the end of the day was pretty crazy. When that thing gets dialed in, its going to be a rocket
sent you a pm
Maiden Voyage was today and I would say very successful...still have some adjusting to do with the flow control valve and pipe screws but overall very impressed with the power potential of this driveline. Hull handles incredibly well...will carve when you want it to, turns on a time, but also...
Final Assembly Pics....now waiting for weather and swannysxr, roo, and tru to get their stuff together! Hopefully a week from today some of us will be riding
