Holy Crap!!!

Just wanted to show some appreciation for the peeps that put Wavedaze together!! The waves absolutely sucked but I had a good time anyway!! I know a lot of preparation, planning, effort and sacrifice of your time has to go into putting on an event like this. I'm sure all the people who worked...

Looks like an awesome surf boat......Kinda' like an FX-1 with giant tubbies and a recessed/lowered pole braket (and I would assume a big pump).

Not sure which one is really better, but one design advantage of the Kawi is that the spline is at the rear (furthest from the point of movement) and the splines seem to last forever.

That does look a little FX-1-ish. I wonder how big/heavy it is?

I also changed out the rear steering coupler for a heim joint and re-drilled the pivot point in a little closer to the nozzle to boost the steering ratio. This made up for the reduced steering plate throw I designed into the turn plate. This helps on an FX (and 08+ superjet) since the cable...

Here's my CAFM *Cheap Ass Mother F'n) steering system........... My stock steering system on my FX-1 was completely worn out. The adjustment was max'd and I even had an extra bushing in there and still no adjustment left. My bars were rocking around like they weren't even connected.........so...
