It will be the middle of next year before the hood is complete. That hood was used as a base to create the hood on my new hull. Which means I need to start over. All my attention is on couple builds and the new hull I will be offering. I'll get there slowly but surely.
It turns out the x-2 upper is almost the exact same area as the sxr. The weight of all the Evo Pro uppers have come out 27lbs + - a pound. When you first look at the x-2 the size is deceiving, at least to me, until I saw the material amount and weight it is to close to call comparing the two

Complete is, hull with footholds and foam, pumpshoe, scupper, exhaust tube, dual cooling, set up for steering and trim. Hood with two holds and rideplate.
The first Pro version sold for $8,000.00 complete. I want to offer the XF for $6,400.00 and the ES for $5000.00 complete. The ski is smaller than the sxr so there is less material. All the materials and laminate schedules are the same as the proven sxr hulls.
Parr your such a good friend, thanks for the motivation. When a RN hood is done and selling I will make sure your the first person to get the last one. :pokey:
Update: The prototype will be going in the water this coming weekend. Tooling will start immediately after testing and tuning of the prototype. The engine for the first build will be a 1000cc x-scream. Engine and other parts have been ordered.
