You can get it how you want it charlie. Most guys are talking about doing flat or satin finishes. All the hulls so far have left in white epoxy primer, I really hate to gel a high performance machine. There are some other am companies offering this as an option now due to the overall quality and...
That was a rough number for the year that I can handle and not rush. It might seem like a small number, but for one guy thats a lot of work. Next year I'll be set up to do more while offering the same quality. Quality is first, quality will always outlast a second rate job. Quality won't make...
Its official, Pancake Pete Scheidt will be joining up with Trinity Composites as a sponsored rider for 2009 aboard the MATRIX PRO. :unitedstates: Looking forward to an awesome year.:bananalama:
The price includes footholds that are installed on all the builds. As far as the decision on skis ask questions to those outside of me or rick. Get real answers to your questions. Look at all the hard facts and make the best decision for you. No matter what your decision, make sure you know your...
Its easier to form and bond the positive form in the mold which creates the negative recess in the hull. All little tricks that make things easier, faster and more precise in tooling. Long and short I've got it covered.
The upper is primed for the last time. I need to do finish sanding and polishing. Once thats done I can mold the upper. This week I'm flanging and molding the lower. Then flip and mold the upper and at the same time the hood. Last set of pics of the plug thankfully. The hardest part is over...

Heres a couple more shots many of you have been asking for. The molding starts this week, with the first ski starting towards the end of feb. Thanks to all my guys who have been there from the start of this project 1000's of hours ago, with the priceless support and input. A result of all this...
My Matrix hull is shorter in the nose, also has much more rocker in the hull to the nose than the rrp (more arch). It is wider in the hull, upper and tray. The Matrix nose looks longer because the pole is not pushed forward for a few reasons. Not arguing, just explaining what might not be seen...
Its crazy. The hull is wild as well, really performed. Whats going to be even more insane is the first build. Now that might be out of this world and into space with that engine going in it. The whole thing is crazy.:shocked::shocked:
Heres a shot with maker on the lines so I can see what I'm doing during the rough out. I have a few things to dial in tomorrow before the first of a few heavy builds of primer. The sharper lines will start to soften as I go through the primer. These lines are not all about a look, they will also...
The hull weighs 73 lbs and the hood weighs 14.5 lbs. The hole above the shaft tube is a chase way for the battery cables. I'll get some better pics tomorrow with some of the metal and hood mounted.
For all you guys who wanted to check it out at Daytona, it won't be there. To much time in this beast to risk showing the prototype. I might get primer on before daytona, so here are a couple almost ready to prime pics. I still have a little work to the nose to blend the pole area. Need to cut a...
