any one have one of these for transporting?

This is the one I designed and had built. I really like it. Getting the ski on and off is easier than I thought it would be.

any one have one of these for transporting?

I used the rack I designed recently and it worked great, looks great too. I couldn't be happier. Loading and unloading is easy with this type of setup. I could take pics if anyone is interested.

    My deal of an SJ

So, Fathom changed up his gallery and none of the photos make sense any more. No big deal. I'll be taking some new pics soon. I've got an idea to clean up the graphics a little bit. Skulls are staying but the coloration and logos will look a lot better. The first "ride" I went on (rode it...

After swooping him out of the water before the sharks made short work of him. Beachjunkey: "Dude hows it look?" Me: "Not too bad, but you might want push your lip up towards your nose."

    dont ever let go

haha, no I'd never try to talk someone out of their SJ, unless you'd want to let it go cheap. I'm fine now but it hurt and physical therapy 3 times a week for 5 months sucked. Good, padded footwells make me a lot more comfortable.

    dont ever let go

I thought about letting go once........... I didn't get far enough away I guess. Two severely sprained ankles and one broken ankle later, I try not to think about letting go.

    N2Graphics pimped my ski!

Yep, a little I scratch your back, you scratch mine. I'm glad you guys like it. I have a few more skis on the schedule in the relatively near future. Hopefully their owners will be as happy.

    My deal of an SJ

I haven't had much time to work on my ski much because of the jobs I've been working on. So, I decided to institute what some might call a work exchange program. Beachjunkey finished up the turf, glassed a crack in the hood, and modded the stock hood a little. I'll get pics of the hood later...

any one have one of these for transporting?

We have established a theoretical estimate and have not yet tested for max tow rating. The rack will require a hitch tongue capacity of 500 lbs or more if you intended to carry a standup and tow a trailer. The trailers tongue weight should not exceed 150 lbs. Until further testing, the tow...

any one have one of these for transporting?

We tested the prototype rack yesterday and it worked great. If you're interested in buying one of these send me a PM and I can provide you more details. I don't want to start a new thread until we have the finished product to take photos of. The rack goes back to the shop today for powder...

Early October is definitely the best time of year around here. I can't wait for this event. Wavedaze will offer something for everyone.

Dropping gut - the check in thread.

Apparently I'm 19lbs over what is considered ideal, should be 203. I think that may be a little light. I'm going to see how much I can/need to drop but I only need to tighten my midsection a little. I'm relatively fit.

    carnage for boater lmao!!

I was out to dinner at one of the local seafood places that also has one of the areas more popular boat ramps. We got treated to seeing someone try to load his boat and in the process have his suburban roll back into the water, submerging 99% of it.

any one have one of these for transporting?

This is the detailed addition and only minor (I think) changes will take place from this point. I expect that we'll change the 2x2 al angle "spine" to 2x2 stl for more strength. This will result in a change in bolt placement. Hopefully I'll have the prototype built soon so I can do some testing...
