We had beach patrol stop by each morning to check for registration on the skis, apparently this was not enough. $25 bucks for guards all weekend = bargain, and a good cause.

haha, he did that all weekend. Appeared to be a heavy guy but never got out of the car. He'd stop every block or so. We had a few good laughs.

Thanks Nick, I had a great time (as did the rest of the junkies). I'll be back next year and hopefully get more riding in.

Those boots are great. I had something similar on each leg for about a month. Mine had air valves to adjust pressure inside the boot. Much better than plaster.

I talked to Dave last week. Ride magazine is still looking through the photos but when he gets them back he'll have them up as soon as possible.

Sorry to hear this. I was in Charleston on the 14th and saw one that looked very much like this behind a silver taurus or similar. I pointed it out to my wife saying "check that out, you don't see them like that very often anymore". I then went on to talked about the stock graphics and rattle...

Thanks, I appreciate the help too. I agree and theres no need for speed like that in the surf unless you're caught in the wrong place. Running back and forth in the break zone is a huge no no. DJ, I wasn't crazy about some of the riding either, so I spent a lot of time on the beach waiting...

He could have been on any ski doing the same thing and I'd still consider it reckless. Thats the type of thing that makes us, that know what we're doing, look bad. I had my gp out for Sunday. He wasn't the only one either.

What a great weekend. Everybody stepping up to help was sweet and really made the event. Its great to have more faces to go with the names I see online. I can't wait to see where this event goes in the next few years.
