the hammering might be a loose/broken woodruff key or loose flywheel which allowed the key out of the groove on one side , I had a similar one looking like that

shaft housing thru hull....that was like that on my first SX... Or an incoming waterline is loose or leaks

hit up derrick Jr on the hurricane website...there a bunch of differences the few I know of - BOB intake grate yam application/tunnels smaller Hurricane tunnel bigger, custom intake, Hurricane take much bigger pump -BOB/Hurricane Engine location in perspective to Engine compartment and opening...

true dat...but I personally need/want engine sound, its critical for me to get my " feel good braaap on " ....if I would be hovering around electrically it would not satisfy me , although good for environment and noise pollution

@ lithium battery behind e box fab.... just a little recommendation to save your TL brain in case your battery decides to burn up , I would add a solid plate between battery and e box.....cant see if your e box is metal or plastic....

Nevada, bring the boat to local department of wildlife ( its not done over dmv here ) bring receipts and pictures of your build and register and title as homebuilt.... it costs $ 20 for title and $ 20 for registration + $ 10 for fungus sticker and you are done, very simple and legal process....

well then sell the 440/550 and keep the 650 for friends.....that way the at least can ride and wont be wrenching on the beach :0)

I think u should keep the 440 beater from the friends and see if u cant find a 650 square or 650 kawaski for yourself.....

great work, love the innovation and thought u put in this project....in my opinion the hood latching system and breathing system ( excess water ) has been ignored for a long time and now products are surfacing with much better solutions....

I assume you are utilizing the oem blaster 1 switch ?? Neither lanyard nor Stop switch kill engine ? I can send you pics and instructions from my wiring, I don't think its the CDI box
