i have ben running a mag pump in my superjet of around 8 or so years. 4 motors and 100 setup changes and still the same bearings. i would guess around 800 to 1000 hours on my pump. i run synthetic oil in mine. i now have mag pumps in all my boats blasters and all.

ele box mod. i used an e-box from a kawasaki ss/xi. put all the polaris parts into the kawe box. never had water in it again.

i know the kid selling it. it sank last year motors toast. ele box is full of water. nothing that cant be fixed.this motor is all complete in the ski just locked up.carbs are frozen. yamaha power 4 now!!!

to bust the rod in the middle is a neat trick. most of the time its caused buy a hydro lock and some point.

any one put a yamaha motor in an octane? i just got one that sank last year. the motor is a mess. plain on rebuliding it this winter.but i have a ton of complete yamaha motors. how hard would it be to drop one in the octane?

your 701 will run better then the 760 with the same mods. ben there done that. 760 (stock port )was a waist of time. 61x 701 runs much better.

sn handles better then a rn. rn is better in the surf do to all the hoods that are made for them. good luck finding a good sn hood.
