Correct, still a great starter kit though.

In other news, I found a new supplier of aluminum with much better pricing so I picked up 3 sheets of 1/8” and tackled 3 different projects.

It should handle the weight, you just can't carry more than one at a time.
Could be the pink wire just hung there and the brown just happens to have a kink in it right there.
This is literally one of the simplest circuits ever so this shouldn’t be that complicated.
Is the relay clicking but you are not getting power to the starter or is the relay not pulling in at all?
What’s going on in this connector? It may just be the angle of the pic but it looks like there are 3 wires in that connector, two brown and a pink?
I’m not that familiar with the Zeel but I’m fairly certain that no connection goes to the solenoid. Did you perhaps mean to wire that to the other...
Normally that connection is made through the stator ground but gets missed when troubleshooting the assembly outside the ski.
What do you get if you put the meter on the black and brown wires right on the solenoid?
If you don’t have 12V, just follow the connection points back till you find...
Now that you have exhausted testing the positive side of the circuit, turn your attention to the ground.
The relay is grounded to the ebox but how is the ebox connected back to the negative side of that battery?
