What's your view look like today?

Happy wife, happy life! Started talking about how much we hated the tree in our front yard over breakfast. Now we are sitting down for dinner on the front porch enjoying our new Magnolia tree. The icing on the cake; we found another wandering turtle and brought her home to our pond. Our...

Other Anyone else considering changing jobs in this current economic climate?

My travel is currently between 65 and 70%. Money is good enough to overlook it though, the team is awesome to work with and the work is still challenging and exciting. I have earned enough hotel points in the last year alone to be able to book a two week stay in a decent hotel near anywhere in...

Correct, still a great starter kit though. I supplemented my kit with a brushless 1/2” hammer drill since this is the tool I use the most and the heaviest.

Lol, you still got it done though. I still find Home Depot to have some of the best deals on Milwaukee tools. The only time I beat their prices is when I shop for reconditioned tools.

Other Milwaukee M18 - Now the Milwaukee Tool thread

Demoed the M18 Blower at work the other day and just had to have one! I found a reman unit for $86 on CPO outlets. The wife always complained that the Stihl BG55 was too hard to start so she's pretty happy with the new unit...

New Superjet to be dubbed the BN?

We started with the Square Nose, (SN), progressed to the Round Nose, (RN), and now we are looking forward to the Bottle Nose, (BN)? Any other suggestions or will this stick?

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

In other news, I found a new supplier of aluminum with much better pricing so I picked up 3 sheets of 1/8” and tackled 3 different projects. The first was to rebuild my organizer rack to fit the new bench. It does away with my rag dispenser but increases my tray count from 15 to 24. I still...

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

I built a live trap this morning to hopefully catch the Snapping turtle that’s been eating all our fish and other turtles. She started off eating their back legs but now, all our larger turtles are missing so we fear she’s moved on to eating them whole or hopefully just scared them enough that...

I think this platform is headed in the right direction; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VNDWWK/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004VNDWWK&linkCode=as2&tag=bubaba-20 It should handle the weight, you just can't carry more than one at a time.

    Electrical question

Could be the pink wire just hung there and the brown just happens to have a kink in it right there. This is literally one of the simplest circuits ever so this shouldn’t be that complicated. Is the relay clicking but you are not getting power to the starter or is the relay not pulling in at all?

    Electrical question

What’s going on in this connector? It may just be the angle of the pic but it looks like there are 3 wires in that connector, two brown and a pink? I’m not that familiar with the Zeel but I’m fairly certain that no connection goes to the solenoid. Did you perhaps mean to wire that to the other...

    Electrical question

Normally that connection is made through the stator ground but gets missed when troubleshooting the assembly outside the ski. What do you get if you put the meter on the black and brown wires right on the solenoid? If you don’t have 12V, just follow the connection points back till you find...

    Electrical question

Now that you have exhausted testing the positive side of the circuit, turn your attention to the ground. The relay is grounded to the ebox but how is the ebox connected back to the negative side of that battery?
