My bad its 33ish ft lbs.
If the motor has enough power to get up to the full 6500rpms and with the overdrive sprocket setup that would make for 9100 rpms at the impeller. Which should make for one hell of a speed run.
Motor Specs:
Brand: QS Motor, QSMOTOR
Motor Design: Single Axle...
Worked with the ElectroBrapp guys yesterday and got the controller settings dialed in. 6500 rpms, instant power, (in the video it had soft start) and will hit the motors full power at 33ft lb/s of torque. So far the motor sounds a hell of a lot better/quieter too.
Any guesses on top speed...
Couple pics of the difference in quality between thrust and push-pull here:

ezpull on the right. Thrust on the left.
i have a zxi1100 and when you pull the the throttle it squirts a little fuel into each carb. It doesn't really help with the 1100 off idle stumble issue. Also cant get rebuild parts anymore for the acc pumps is probably why people remove them.
Probably not a great idea to take your hood off in the middle of the water to get paperwork.. (I had a water pig ask me to take my life jacket off in the water once so he could check it, and to this day i regret not pretending to drown and swimming under his boat and hiding) But they would...
If you are not in a hurry and want to save a few bucks you can order and pre-order from waxracing.

I also learned the hard way.. Pay the 5$ per filter and get a good quality one from the autoparts store.

Possibly the cause of the chain heat. Going to try changing from a 10T to a 12T driveline sprocket. *Huge pain in the arse to drill/grind through a hardened sprocket..

Plan to call pick n pull today see if I can get all the other crap like the down pipe and o2 sensors from another car. Everything they hacked through and took with them is another 300$ (walker brand) not including the cost of the CAT.. Cheapest I can find on ebay is 480$.
Me too! The 650 was the same way with steam and burning hot water coming out of the pisser. The 701 the pisser is also very hot but the engine while running full throttle is only 115-120f. (checked with temp gun at head and cylinder). I also thought about retaping the pump and running a 1/2"...
Someone stole the wifes catalytic converter at her work (hospital) today.. Anyone know where to find a decent deal on a CA approved cat? Or if the non ca approved ones will still pass CA smog? only 80$.. Assuming the tech does not crawl under and check it. :)
while you have that open make note of the alum plates so you can put on the swim platform and trim tabs.
For cooling I swapped out the npt fitting on the pump with a bigger one. Also the pisser you can fit 3/8 water line in there. So far so good with the 701.
I believe so! we stripped the ski and fiberglassed all the openings and I used a seal on the hull and on the hood. Only water at the end of the day was from me taking off the hood and splashing water on the chain. The motor is rated for ip67, and the controller is potted. I am more worried...
