Was there a change in bafffle design in the RN waterbox over the years? I have 2 boxes in nice shape and if you look into the input side on both boxes, it looks very different. On the 2010 box you can see the flat verticle wall of the baffle, and on the earlier one there's a round piece...

Good eye! That is different (and shouldn't be).

it's a standard SJ pump (not mag) with the mounts re-welded to fit the FX hull. You still need to do glass work to do it right and put the SJ pump shoes in as well. Also, when the pump liner swells you're going back to blowsion for a replacement due to the re-welded mounts.

They're all the same. There must be something else happening.

The FX weighs about the same, or less than, most of the aftermarket hulls...... So it should be as viable.

I haven't run the Dasa yet, but it should be a good comparison.

I think it will. It works perfect on my ss865 setup and I'm jetting this motor the same as a starting point....guess we'll see soon!

I have 2 ss865 motors and the bellows are aways full of oil, I think that's just the way it is........not sure it's a problem to be fixed?
