your doing somthing wrong. same shafts since i got my ski back in 92. "dremaling" the liner is your 1st issue.

to each his own. just like the guys that cant keep bearings in mag pumps.works for me no issues. i have 800 to 1000 hours on my mid shaft and bearing. (now its going to blow up) lol .nothing but salt and waves. the kawe housing rots out in about a year or 2.
