Are you in it? That’s pretty cool.
That explains the pic you posted in the stormtrooper outfit in the COVID thread.
I liked the two troopers on the bikes killing time that couldn’t hit the can. Excellent scene!
Looks like the I’ll be working from home for the balance of the year doing planning for next year.
Figured a monitor upgrade, for “drawing review”, was in order....
Anything new to report on this front?
After waiting almost a full year, Reolink has just released their 16ch 4K NVR so I was finally able to get all my cameras back onto one single NVR instead of having to run a pair of 8CH units.
They have also just released a new line of cameras with AI that...
I was thinking the same thing. Most earplugs have no safeguard against being driven further in.
Molded earplugs with the large outer area would be the way to go in that regard. I aim for the most NRR for work but for riding, you would want them as light as possible to still hear your...
Are you at least protected in the fact that your quote lists the cost and what that cost covers? If you provided a quote for $51K less that specifically lists carpet instead of tile, isn't that what they would be accepting if they accept that quote?
That's the scenario we see on our projects...
Before I buy an impact, let me first ask this of those who use one regularly;
How much stuff do you F*ck up by using one?
I ask because I have never used one and never really felt like I was missing out on anything.
Like most, I over torqued and broke a lot of bolts when I was first learning to...
I was in Northern Tool this weekend and was checking out a couple tools in person, particularly that impact drive that Sanoman posted.
The 1/2” impact I have is the huge one compared to the more compact versions now available. They offer the compact version in both 1/2” and 3/8” even though the...
Anyone see the new M12 Pruning Saw yet?
I didn't even know these were a thing until my mother made a huge deal about getting the new Stihl version of it.
I'd buy the Milwaukee because I already have the batteries but I think Stihl has the better product in this case.
I have one that I never use if you want it, (bare tool only). It's 1/2" but not the Fuel version though.
From what Roseand said earlier, the 3/8" Fuel version has more than enough torque and is much more compact so if I ever need one, I'll go that route...
Buy a whole new axle, they are cheap, around here anyways.
Here's a bare galvanized axle tube with axle stubs for under $75

Here's a complete kit with leaf springs, spindles, etc for $200 at Northern Tool...
I haven’t had the issue but my M18 stuff is all pretty new. The chucks are replaceable if you think it’s just in the clutch.
Now I will say that they do heat up under hard use, to a point where it’s probably uncomfortable to hold with a bare hand. I’ve never had it be an issue though where it...
Well the one machine is the exact same machine as mine with the conversion already done so you just got a huge jump start!
Can't wait to see that router in action.
She’s actually not that big. She looks monstrous in the camera but the platform is only 24” wide so she’s around half that at 12”.
I set a trap but I think she has already moved on. We only saw her for around 6 weeks. All the bigger turtles are gone now so she either ate them or chased them...
