Looks like I'm picking up a Q8 in a few weeks and was wondering if a yamaha pump will bolt in. I thought I read somewhere that a yamaha pump will fit without too much modification, is that the case?

It doesn't, I'm 6'4" 220 and have no problems on my Gen3. I'm sure were going to do an early spring ride as soon as the ice lifts somewhere in central alberta

If you want to try some aftermarket hulls next spring, there's a lot in Alberta. Gen2 and gen3 bobs, a rickter xfs, wdk rev, rickter fs1, trinity matrix. There's also suppose to be a super freak, eme q8 and an Ariel 8 coming this winter and a foot rocket to Saskatchewan

Every hull is so different, your question is too vague. You need to just try them. I can ride my Gen3 and an xfs flat out, other guys can't
