I didn’t even know FX1s existed until earlier today and I’ve been riding skis my whole life, I must have missed that year of production? Anyhow, are these things as nimble and fun as I’m thinking? I’m sure it’s been covered somewhere but can someone tell me the pearls with this ski? I found one...

Yeah I could do that if need be. I think I’d rather just sell it or trade it. I got a pretty good deal on it so I could let it go for 5-6k. I’m a water and dirt guy so I have it listed open to trades for relevant toys

It’s a 2010, I think generation 1. I will post pictures. It’s got msd ignition, did not know about zeeltronics. I started considering porting, pipe change, different mods but in the end I really think just need more power to really enjoy it

Appreciate the responses, will definitely do the water check when I put it on the trailer. Also good to hear people run the bilge the whole time while riding, I’ve never done that with any of my other skis but I’ve never owned a short hull freestyle

Just bought a short hull 701 freestyle ski 44 magnum pump. Noticing it needing to be bilged somewhat frequently. Do freestyle riders sometimes recommend just running the bilge the entire time while riding?
