Ocean Pro Race Plate or the Ocean Plate works well. I ran the Quick Products turn plate (What John has would be similar, go that route!!!!). I always liked the deep and super deep westcoast open grates. Stock just does not work well.

The ADA is a solid design, ran mine for 4 years and never had an issue. The Thrust is a sealed design as well! Honestly, they are the 2 best designs out there!!!!!

With the RRP if you have Trim, you may have to open up the inboard side of the start stop switch, or get the RRP Bar extenders (What I had to do) to move your grips out just a bid.

Dont mean around the tube, inside the tube. Mine had a carbon tube, It was not a straight tube. I always wondered if it leaked at one of the joints.

Even after doing all the work I did, my hull leaked water in. I sealed everything from both sides. Only thing left was a leak in the carbon exhaust tube!!!!!!!
