Ya I guess Im clueless on this but it was amazing how quiet the boat was outside of the water but how loud t is to ride and listen to. Posting just to see the results, will help if I can.
What ???? my ears are still ringing from yesterday, :crutches: It is very loud in the water but quiet out of the water. Seems like a waterbypass or injection flow valve will fix this.
Removed the pump Stuffer with the 13/17 Dominator prop and it made a huge difference. Glad I was able to save a little $$$ maybe this winter I'll play with cutback or repitching. cant believe I rode this ski so long with that other prop (14.5/18.5)
Had the same problem when I installed my prop, I spent about an hour working on it then removed the intake grate and slowely worked it in there. I used the method of pushing it in then when it didn't budge pullin it out and moving the driveshaft a degree or 2. This worked for me within 20...
I went to this event last year for my first time and must say It was the best time I have had on the water and beach ever (other than almost breaking my ankle riding the surf). Great day and night fun, awsome people, and extreme skills on the water. I've already talked to the misses and am...
Yes a Vice, Yamaha Driveshaft tool, The impeller tool that came with the impeller and big wrench. I used a hammer on the wrench and that didnt help so we found a pipe. Oh I sprayed WD-40 in there and let it sit a while, that seemed to help break it loose.
First of all it was hard to install, The hardest part was getting the drive shaft off the prop. I never would have been able to get this off without the proper tools and a vise. I recommend using a wrench with a pipe on the end of it for leverage. Once I got it appart putting it back...
Hey Eric, Heal up quick this sport is not the same without you. People say snow doesn't hurt. If I only had as much skill in my whole body as you have in that broken bone.
Heres Blowsions version and now I get the idea, its all about top speed. Taking out the dremel tonight unless anyone in the Sacramento area want to make a swap.

Cool selling means I have to buy a new one, so does everyone agree this is a smart move? Why is the stuffer worse in FS but better in racing?
I'm thinking waterflow at high end but it would be nice to understand better.
Bought a race boat and converted it to a FS boat a few years back. I just put a Solas 13/17 dominator prop on it an noticed it has the worx scup grate/ pump stuffer combo. Im not sure if this is a good or a bad thing for FS? Whats everyone else using for the intake on a FS boat? Any...
Just curious if anyone knows how to change a Sj prop without ordering the special tools. If ordering the special tools is the answer then I'll order them.
