Last year I rode a 650sx with a factory pipe, carb, prop, ride plate, intake grate and it was plenty of power for my first year and now I'm upgrading to a superjet because I rode one and what a difference
FPF i was in the same situation as you were watching all the you tube videos of backflips and barrel rolls and wanted to do the same. I soon ran out of motovation, money, and just enjoy rec riding and messing around out on the water. As far as mods to do a flatwater flip on a sj i dont even know...
The superjet was designed to be a great overall ski its good at everything but not great at anything lol. From my experience if you want to do a backflip or anything crazy you need a am hull with alot of motor but the more motor tue more expenses and reliablity is at risk. When i started riding...
Personally i like unmolested skis thats why i have a down payment on a new 2013, i like the fact of putting all my own upgrades on something rather that buying one with them on. There is alot of things that can be wrong with a ski that wont show up for a couple rides. Its hard to trust people...
There are lakes that have banned 2 strokes to be used in them but you will have no problem getting it registered just check your local lake restrictions

Man looks like im gonna be the last to get mine up in ohio lol. Its not like i can ride it but i have a spot all cleaned up in the garage waiting to tear it down and put some parts on it. I got money thats burning a hole in my pocket
yes my dealer ordered 6 and was suppose to get three and his yamaha rep called him and tried to cancel his order but since i had a deposit he was able to get one. but i guess yamaha promised more then they manufactured so they had to cancle dealers orders
