Depending on how much they go for in the area, that sounds like a decent deal if the trailer is in good condition. Make sure you at least do a compression test on the ski, and even better water test it. For that price, the ski should be in good to excellent condition, with no hiccups or issues...

People at the DMV are terrible here in San Diego. When I took my skis from Colorado there they somehow managed to screw up the VINs on both skis and a trailer. Also, they wouldn't give me PTI plates on the trailer because it was a "carriage." I'm quite certain all boat trailers I've seen around...

I have the above strap and use it all the time for the blaster, but there is a cheaper alternative. Just put a loop up through the bow eye, and insert the rotate bring the hook though the loop to keep it from sliding back through. Kind of hard to explain, let me know if you need me to explain...

That's excellent news.... I'm looking to pick up some punch by installing a 13/17 surf prop. I too thought it was a skat trak, but they usually have markings and their logo. On the other hand, that impeller is one of the ones in better shape. Even the wear ring looks great! Thanks again, Dylan

I had a similar situation, and it turned out the start stop switch. Swapped it out and it was fine. My ski had spark, but was intermitent depending on how hard I pressed the switch. Might be worth taking a few minutes to look at...
